a célébration de l'avent en République Tchèque est toujours très forte, et renvoie au Moyen-Âge. La Messe Rorate tire son nom du texte latin de du premier antiphonaire Rorate Coeli, et cet enregistrement présente la reconstruction d'une messe de ce type telle qu'elle pouvait être interprétée dans la seconde moitié du 16è siècle. A côté du plain-chant, on trouve du répertoire tchèque typique, ainsi que les influences de la polyphonie franco-flamande, au travers de différentes sources manuscrites : Codex Speciálník (région de Prague, 15è siècle), Codex Franus... L'ensemble Schola Gregoriana Pragensis perpétue avec bonheur cette longue tradition musicale qui célèbre le mystère de la Nativité.
