ohn Philip Sousa a personifié l'innocence et l'énergie des Etats-Unis au tournant du vingtième siècle et sa US Field Artillery March est la marche officielle de l'armée américaine. Cet album présente un certain nombre de marches, issues de musicals ou incluant divers hymnes nationaux. Le chef d'orchestre Keith Brion est un fervent défenseur de Sousa, et ses interprétations suscitent l'admiration.
